Disconnecting or Moving Your AEC Services

If you’re an AEC member looking to disconnect your services due to a move or any other reason, we’ve got you covered. We understand that relocating can be hectic, and we want to make the process of disconnecting or moving your services as smooth as possible.

How to Request a Service Disconnection

Contact Us: To initiate the process, all you need to do is give us a call at ext. 1810. Our friendly Member Support team is here to assist you.

Identity Verification: For security reasons, we’ll need to verify your identity during the call. This step is crucial to ensure that your account information remains protected.

Account Information Update: Once your identity is verified, we’ll update your account information. This includes ensuring we have the correct forwarding address to ensure a seamless transition.

Scheduling Disconnection: We understand that timing is essential. You can request a disconnection with as little as 24 hours’ notice. Typically, your service will be scheduled for disconnect the following morning. However, we also offer flexibility, allowing you to schedule the disconnection up to 14 days in advance. Most members prefer to wait until they are closer to their move date.
