Security lighting is intended to deter crime and enhance safety in private properties like homes, commercial and industrial parking lots, and areas. This lighting is used to illuminate dark areas where intruders might hide, making it easier to monitor these areas either visually or through surveillance cameras.
Street Lighting is typically the responsibility of local municipal governments, such as cities or towns, and is primarily designed to illuminate public roadways, sidewalks, and other public areas to enhance visibility for drivers and pedestrians, especially at night. This improves safety by reducing the risk of accidents and deters crime by increasing visibility.
AEC offers a wide array of options for your security and outdoor lighting. To get the current availability and pricing, please go to the Rates page and view the current month. The available lighting is located at the bottom of the Rates sheet.
Fees may apply to the installation of new poles and lights. For more information, contact Member Support Services at ext.1810.
