Payment Locations

Appalachian Electric Cooperative provides several convenient options to pay your electric bill.

  • Members may pay their bill at AEC’s office – located at 1109 Hill Drive, New Market TN
  • Payments by US Mail may be sent to AEC, PO Box 710 Jefferson City, TN 37760

Non-Office Hours: Night Deposit Box (Check or money order only) – payments are processed next business day.

For your convenience, we have payment kiosks located inside Fast Stop Markets in the following locations:

  • 1008 Highway 92, Jefferson City
  • 5056 West Andrew Johnson Highway, Morristown
  • 1041 Highway 92, Dandridge
  • 3507 East Andrew Johnson Highway, Morristown
  • 7785 Rutledge Pike, Rutledge

VanillaDirect provides real-time cash payment solutions at Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy and others. To make a payment at one of the VanillaDirect locations, you must have a barcode. To obtain a barcode, go to www.aec.smarthub.coop and follow the directions below (you must have your AEC coount number to sign into SmartHub). If you have downloaded the SmartHub app onto a mobile device, this can be done from that as well. When paying at a VanillaDirect location, it is cash only and there is a $1.50 service charge per transaction.

Step 1 – Select Bill & Pay

Step 2 – From the drop-down menu select “Pay by Cash”

Step 3 – Select “Print Barcode” to print and take to a VanillaDirect location. This same barcode can be used every time you pay with VanillaDirect.

Sign up for both ACH (the amount of your electric bill is deducted from your checking account) and our paperless E-bill option and receive a $1 credit on your bill each month. Complete this Automatic Bank Draft form or contact us at (833) 489-0606 extension 1810.
