How Is My Bill Calculated?
Appalachian Electric Cooperative (AEC) follows the same formula in calculating every residential member’s electric bill. The following shows what information is used and where you can find it.
Kilowatt hour (kWh)
Your kWh is used for the billing cycle, it is located on page 2 of your billing statement.

Months that have seasonal adjustment are June through September and December through March.
FCA (Fuel Cost Adjustment)
Total Energy Rate

Monthly Base Customer Charge
This is also found on the rates page on the AEC website.
