To pay by phone using a credit card, please contact AEC at one of the numbers below and press #1 for our Interactive Voice Response System and follow the automated prompt.
Sign up for both ACH (the amount of your electric bill is deducted from your checking account) and our paperless E-bill option and receive a $1 credit on your bill each month. Complete this Automatic Bank Draft form or contact us at (833) 489-0606 extension 1810.
VanillaDirect provides real-time cash payment solutions at Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy and others. To make a payment at one of the VanillaDirect locations, you must have a barcode. To obtain a barcode, go to www.aec.smarthub.coop and follow the directions below (you must have your AEC coount number to sign into SmartHub). If you have downloaded the SmartHub app onto a mobile device, this can be done from that as well. When paying at a VanillaDirect location, it is cash only and there is a $1.50 service charge per transaction.
Step 1 - Select Bill & Pay
Step 2 - From the drop-down menu select "Pay by Cash"
Step 3 - Select "Print Barcode" to print and take to a VanillaDirect location. This same barcode can be used every time you pay with VanillaDirect.
