AEC’s 84th Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Jefferson County High School. We are excited for this chance to get together with our members. The annual meeting is a great opportunity for members to come together and learn more about the financial and operational position of AEC. As a member-owned co-op, transparent and clear communications with members is key to making sure we Power What Matters Most.
Members can register for the meeting on-site on October 12 starting at 9:00 am. The business meeting begins at 10:00 am. Members may also choose to register during our early bird registration period from September 23 through October 4. The first 84 members who register during that timeframe by email and the first 84 members who register by phone will be awarded a $50 credit certificate for their electric bill. If you are awarded a bill credit, you must attend the annual meeting in-person to receive your bill credit. To pre-register, members can call (865) 262 – 6200 or email memberservices@aecoop.org. Please be prepared to record your name, AEC Account Number and telephone number. The pre-registration window will only be open between 8:30 am on September 23 through 4:30 pm on October 4. All pre-registrations will be valid for the annual meeting attendance.
We look forward to seeing you at the 84th Annual Meeting of the Membership!

As you probably already know, AEC is moving to a new software platform. We were planning to make this switch in October; however, after internal discussions and feedback from our members, AEC has decided to extend our “go live’ date until January 2025. This extra time for the transition will benefit both our internal operational efforts and our member implementation process. This extension also moves us through the holiday season and allows us to begin fresh in the new year. Over the next couple of months, you will receive updated information and timelines for this project. To deliver accurate and timely information to you, our member, we will utilize the following outreach tools: the member newsletter, bill statement messages, YouTube videos, the Tennessee Magazine, Social media platforms, local newspaper, text notification and email correspondence. Please check these areas to stay informed. Should you have a question at any time, please do not hesitate to contact our office. We are confident that once we implement this platform change, our membership will enjoy a more efficient, transparent and cost-effective plan of services.
