Measures Available for Financing
- Air Sealing – Caulking, weather stripping and other drafty cracks that cause energy loss.
- Windows and Doors – Not available for financing at this time.
- Duct System – Repair leaks, inefficient installation or undersized ductwork.
- Attic Insulation – Increasing the R-value of attic insulation.
- Water Heater – Upgrading the water heating system and insulation.
- Heating/Cooling System – Upgrading the HVAC that is most efficient for your home.
- Must own the property
- Must be a member, in good standing with Appalachian Electric Cooperative (AEC)
- Must meet a minimum 625 credit score
- Interest rate is 8% APR
- Loan term is up to 120 months on all equipment
- $2,500 minimum / $20,000 maximum
- A UCC-1 filing fixture will secure the property (There is a filing fee)

AEC Loan Application
